Project Controls Manager – Ohio – Contract- Pharmaceutical

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Controls Manager to join a major global pharmaceutical client on their latest greenfield capital project in Ohio. This large-scale new-build project, with an investment exceeding $1 billion, is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge development in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Project Controls expertise across the entire project scope, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Communicate and coordinate resources as required to meet project objectives.
  • Lead and manage project controls teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Ensure the successful execution and administration of large-scale capital projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Controls professional on large construction programs.
  • Experience setting up and leading project controls teams on major projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in project and program management, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Good commercial and engineering industry knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact positively at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience interfacing with resources from within project teams and supplier organizations.
